Scientific visit dedicated to strengthening regulatory and surveillance capacities in the nuclear and radiological field

During November 24-28, 2025, the National Agency for the Regulation of Nuclear and Radiological Activities (ANRANR) organized and hosted a scientific visit dedicated to strengthening regulatory and surveillance capacities in the nuclear and radiological field, carried out with the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
This activity was attended by a delegation from Turkmenistan, made up of representatives of relevant ministries and other relevant governmental structures, interested in the exchange of experience and best practices in the field of nuclear and radiological regulation.
The program of the visit included theoretical sessions, technical activities and institutional discussions, providing a practical perspective on the regulatory framework, control and oversight mechanisms and alignment with IAEA standards and mechanisms.
